As one of a great number of friends that Gemma had over the years, I feel privileged to have been touched by the warmth, compassion, courage, support, kindness, determination, generosity of spirit and sheer beauty of soul that Gemma personified in bucketloads. I'm certainly not alone in missing the love she gave and now leaves behind, but also in valuing the massive contributions she made to the world and those around her - she will be forever remembered by how much better she made all our lives.
